S Shigley (b. 1974) in Rockford, Il. is a self taught artist who is best known for his highly regarded Joshua Tree sculptures.  An accomplished metal worker/ fabricator whose work ranges from table top sculpture, metal wall art, custom furniture and garden bells to large scale public art.

"Shig" was recently commissioned to create what has turned out to be the worlds largest Tesseract for the 2018 Bombay Beach Biennale, where it now stands as a permanent installation.  The Biennale is in it's 3rd year and hosts artists, musicians and creatives from around the globe raising awareness to the plight of the Salton Sea and Bombay Beach community.  Currently he is preparing to attend the artist in residency program in 2019 at the prestigious Chateau Orquevaux in Paris.  He has been invited to create the first outdoor sculpture for the grounds, and to build a working metal shop for future artists and sculptors to use.

His work can be seen at Colin Fishers Studios in Palm Springs and in private collections from California to New York.

When not creating and refining his craft in the California high desert he enjoys spending time with his Daughter, friends and riding his custom Harley.
